Register your attendance for the upcoming Rookie Me Club Academy Event held on Sunday, 27th March 2022.

Please note: this event is only available for athletes who have been invited by the Queenscliff Football Netball Club.

Also, the total cost for the full one-day event is $110, with your club covering $60 of this fee, therefore it’s only a $50 commitment fee for you to kick start your season.

Rookie Me is also donating a free 12-month subscription to the Rookie Me Connect portal (worth $89.99) for all registered players to track, analyse and compare your testing results.

LEADERSHIP
‘Buy in’ session where each player is challenged to commit to the day/year ahead. Throughout the day, players will be challenged to step outside their comfort-zone, and be a willing member of the team.
HIGH PERFORMANCE
Concentrating on the elements to develop and educate an athlete in high performance.
  • Performance Testing - Education and preparation of the official AFL combine testing battery; and providing athletes the understanding of their strengths, areas of improvements, and the levels they need to reach.
  • Nutrition - Introduces players to the process of fuelling their bodies to perform, with an emphasis on training and game day.
  • Recovery - Players are educated on a variety of recovery strategies which should be undertaken by players.
SKILL AND TECHNIQUE
Team building and problem solving activities where players are forced to work in a team and plan out a way to succeed. Football skill and game sense development through relevant games, techniques and training activities.
  • Fundamental Skills - Breaking down the key fundamental skills of the game with age-specific games, activities, and training.
  • Game Sense - Game sense education, focusing on the three phases of the game (attack, defend and contest) and the skills and positions within those phases.
